    Product Overview

A positive-pressure oxygen respirator is a closed-loop system. As we all know, the air we breathe contains carbon dioxide; if this carbon dioxide were to be inhaled again, it would pose a serious health risk. Therefore, a medium is required to absorb the carbon dioxide, and calcium hydroxide serves this purpose. Calcium hydroxide is a critical filling material in oxygen respirators, capable of absorbing the carbon dioxide exhaled by rescue personnel. The quality of this material directly affects the safety of rescuers’ lives. Key performance indicators for this material include its carbon dioxide absorption rate and residual carbon dioxide content. Traditional testing methods, however, are cumbersome to operate, time-consuming, and lack sufficient accuracy.

Through scientific refinement of traditional chemical analysis methods, a rapid, scientific, and rigorous testing system has been developed, transforming conventional testing approaches into pH-based acid–base titration for CO. 2 The absorption rate yields more accurate theoretical detection values.

    Product Features:

Rapid and accurate detection of Ca(OH)₂ using the device 2 Moisture content and carbon dioxide absorption rate.
