Respirator Fit Testing Equipment 8030+
Product Introduction
Test the fit between the respirator mask and the wearer's face using the Respirator Fit Testing Equipment 8030+ to determine whether the wearer meets the protection standards and ensure the specified Assigned Protection Factor (APF) is achieved.
Importance of Respirator Fit Testing
- Determine if new team members are suitable for wearing respirators and select the appropriate respirator mask model.
- Train team members to wear respirators correctly and provide objective evaluations.
- Evaluate the fit during various movements while wearing the respirator, guiding rescue team members to reduce actions that decrease fit. Regularly test the fit between the respirator mask and the wearer’s face to prevent mask damage or facial deformation that reduces fit.
- Poor fit between the face and mask can cause air (oxygen) to leak too quickly, resulting in failure to meet the rated working time.
- In high-load rescue scenarios with poor fit, deep breathing by the respirator wearer may cause negative pressure inside the mask, leading to inhalation of toxic and harmful substances, causing occupational injuries or even death.
- Test data archiving, standardized and scientific management.
- Respirator protection effectiveness = the respirator’s own protective performance + good fit with the wearer’s face.
