Dräger BG ProAir LDV Isolated Positive Pressure Oxygen Respirator
Product Introduction
It is a closed-circuit positive pressure oxygen respirator specially designed for long-term underground rescue missions. The BG ProAir LDV demand supply version breaks the traditional 4-hour concept, using innovative new technology to significantly increase breathing protection time under low-frequency breathing, allowing the wearer more time to complete tasks safely during work.
Product Features
- The full facepiece is made of EPDM rubber, with double-layer sealing edges and a five-point head strap; non-metallic frame, equipped with an anti-fog wiper, with the wiper handle made of non-metallic materials;
- The shell is made of carbon fiber reinforced composite material, and can be opened from the side via a hinge; it can also be completely removed from the main unit when maintenance requires removal;
- Yellow reflective markings are present on the front and sides of the shell, and the shell is equipped with a buddy indicator light display, with the indicator light color linked to cylinder pressure;
- Internally equipped with a pressure reducing valve, pre-flush valve, and manual supply valve; the three valves are independent of each other, providing greater stability and easier maintenance.
- The breathing circuit inside the main unit uses blue and red colors to distinguish, preventing misoperation;
- The waist pad has a rotating mechanism that fits the human back and rotates; the shoulder strap and waist pad can be installed and removed without tools, making maintenance and cleaning easy.
- The integrated electronic monitoring device features pressure display, pressure alarm, fall alarm, active alarm, remaining alarm time, usage time display, high and low pressure airtightness test, absorbent monitoring, temperature display, and oxygen deficiency alarm;
- The cooling system uses 4 reusable ice packs to cool the breathing gas, which is cooled through 5 channels, effectively reducing breathing temperature; when the ambient temperature is (26±2)°C, the inhaled air temperature ≤34°C, and when the ambient temperature is (40±2)°C, the inhaled air temperature ≤41°C;
- The ice packs are used flexibly; when 4 hours of breathing protection is not required or the external temperature is very low, the number of ice packs used can be reduced to lighten the carrying weight;
Technical Parameters
Usage Duration
The usage duration varies according to different breathing volumes.
During light physical labor, for example, when the breathing rate is less than 30L/min, the usage duration may exceed 4 hours;
During very light physical labor, the usage duration may be much longer than 4 hours; for example, at a breathing rate of 10L/min, the usage duration may reach 16 hours;
* Based on ISO 17420 laboratory test data
