The laser methane detector for coal mines is based on optoelectronic device technology, utilizing the absorption effect of methane gas on specific laser wavelengths, with absorption intensity related to methane gas concentration (Lambert-Beer law). This device is a handheld gas remote meter mainly used for remote measurement of methane and methane-containing gases (natural gas or similar gases) concentration.
