Mining Gel Pump Series

The mine gel pump is a specially designed piece of equipment for mining operations. It’s a gel injection device capable of delivering high-water-content gels that are fire-retardant, heat-resistant, and formulated with precise proportions. Primarily used to convey high-temperature and high-water-content materials (water + gel material + accelerators), this pump automatically mixes water, gel material, and accelerators in specific ratios and delivers the mixture to the desired injection locations. Depending on the varying proportions of the ingredients, this liquid high-water gel mixture can solidify into a gel within 30 to 400 seconds. While in liquid form, it thoroughly penetrates the coal seam; during gelation, it absorbs heat; and once solidified, it encapsulates the coal mass and forms a stable buildup. As a result, this technology fully leverages its effectiveness in firefighting, enabling rapid and efficient control and extinguishing of fires.

    3. Inhibition Effect: The gel exhibits excellent inhibition performance. Not only does the gel absorb heat and reduce temperature, but it also envelops the coal body, isolating it from contact with oxygen and thus exerting an inhibition effect.

    Product Use

    It is used for the protection of coal mine roadways, mine roof plates, and coal seam floor plates, as well as to prevent rock wall spalling and coal seam roof collapses. It is also employed in coal mine fire suppression and fire prevention by spraying gel materials to form a protective layer. Moreover, the mining gel pump is suitable for other applications requiring the spray application of polymer materials.
