JTF-II Pratt Fire Prevention and Extinguishing Materials
The Pret-type fire prevention and extinguishing new technology was developed to address the issues of spontaneous coal combustion in localized areas such as roadways and the tops of supports, as well as air leakage problems in upper and lower corner seals. It consists of two components, Material A and Material B, mixed in a 1:1 volume ratio. After chemical foaming, it produces a chemical foam body with an expansion coefficient of more than 10 times. The generation process does not produce heat, fundamentally solving the problem of high heat generation during the reaction process of traditional polyurethane filling materials.

Polymer composite agents for mining play a role in flame retardation, cooling, and reinforcement sealing in underground mining faces, goaf areas, sealed zones, and high-temperature zones of flammable coal seams. They form a stable antioxidant protective film, reducing the oxygen absorption capacity on the coal seam surface. By spraying polymer composite agents, it can reduce airborne coal dust suspension, residual coal, and broken coal walls, achieving functions of cooling, heat insulation, oxygen isolation, gas isolation, and sealing. It features low corrosion rate, high foaming rate, strong fire extinguishing ability, and high sealing strength.

MTY colloidal fire extinguishing agent is a coal mine fire prevention and extinguishing material developed based on in-depth research on spontaneous combustion of coal. It integrates flame retardancy, oxidation resistance, and fire extinguishing. During fire prevention and extinguishing, the colloid is injected into the surface and body of the coal. The colloid is continuously sprayed and diffused. It loses water slowly when heated, consuming a large amount of heat. Due to its strong water retention, it has a strong fire extinguishing ability. The surface and body of the coal near the flame that have not yet burned are covered by the colloid, forming an insulating and gas-isolating coking layer on the combustible material. This prevents the generation of large amounts of water gas, resulting in high fire extinguishing efficiency, no repeated fires, no re-ignition of the coal body, and remarkable fire extinguishing effects.

The high-multiplication foam fire-extinguishing system for coal mines is primarily used to combat fires in underground mine roadways, as well as in confined above-ground and subterranean spaces—such as those involving coal, wood, or oil-based materials. For small-scale fires in hard-to-reach or obscured locations where identifying the fire source is challenging, this system allows firefighters to safely deploy from a distance. High-multiplication foam quickly envelops the fire source, cutting off the supply of oxygen to the blaze. As it vaporizes within the combustion zone, it absorbs significant amounts of heat through vaporization, effectively insulating and cooling the area. At the same time, the foam releases large quantities of water vapor, which dilutes the oxygen concentration in the fire zone, ultimately suffocating the flames and extinguishing the fire.
